Enquiries submitted on this website

We process your name, email, optional organisation and phone number, technical details, message, language, consent and submission time to receive and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis for this initial contact form is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Required details are necessary to identify and respond to your request. Do not send sensitive personal information or confidential drawings through this form.

The enquiry is saved in the website’s access-controlled inbox on the Sites hosting infrastructure (OpenAI / Cloudflare). Only authorised editors can view it. The form does not send an automated email, create a newsletter subscription or make automated decisions about you.

Retention and your choices

Inbox records expire after 90 days and are removed on the next inbox or submission request. An editor can delete them sooner. Any subsequent correspondence or contractual records are subject to the relevant university retention rules, separately from this inbox. You can withdraw consent, request access, correction or deletion by contacting the privacy address or rack.adam@pte.hu, quoting the submission reference. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. The official university privacy page explains further rights and complaint routes; a complaint may also be made to the Hungarian supervisory authority, NAIH.

Technical services and external media

Rate limiting uses a daily hash of the network address; the form’s database does not store the raw IP address. The hosting provider may process technical connection logs under its own service terms. Manufacturer and university photographs load from their official servers. YouTube players load only when you choose to load a video.

No analytics provider is currently enabled. Editor sign-in uses ChatGPT authentication and an email allowlist.
